ABOUT Council of Traditional Art and Culture

The Council of Traditional Art & Culture is India's leading cultural examination council, wholly committed to preserving the country's rich heritage of arts, music, crafts, and cultural expression. Operating under a government-registered national body, the Council is empanelled with NITI Aayog, the Ministry of Handicrafts, MSME (Government of India), and other relevant agencies. It holds ISO 9001:2025 certification as a mark of quality assurance.

By offering structured examination programs, recognized certifications, and building an expansive network of affiliated institutions, we equip artists, artisans, and cultural professionals with credible credentials and support. The Council of Traditional Art is a premier institution dedicated to preserving and promoting India's rich cultural heritage through comprehensive education in traditional arts. We offer structured programs in Arts, Music, Dance, Drama, Recitation, and Handicrafts, ranging from foundation to advanced levels.

We offer six main programs: School of Arts, School of Music, School of Dance, School of Drama, School of Recitation, and School of Handicrafts. Each program has multiple levels from Beginner (Adya, Madhya, Purna) to Advanced (up to 9th Year).

Choose your desired program and level, fill out our online application form with your details, submit required documents along with the application fee. You will receive confirmation within 2-3 working days. Admissions are open year-round.
